In the prosperous days at Correct Craft models like Martinique, Mustang, Tique and others filled the Correct Craft lineup. Now all of their products (Ski Nautique AirNautique) carry the Nautique name but are still built by Correct Craft. It is a family of water sports boats built by Correct Craft. If times change and Correct Craft builds Bass boats or sail boats or whatever they too will be something, by Correct Craft. I don't see how someone has trouble understanding that.
Doesn't it set in Orlando in the lobby? I don't know, just asking. There are a few old CC at the plant.
I have never seen a pre WWII CC's so considering they started in 1925 the "antiques" (the ACBS class for pre WWII) are long gone. The oldest CC in the ACBS directory is a 1945 but no model is listed. The one in the lobby at the plant I'd place at a late 40's early 50's. I wouldn't even try to guess at the model as it's been pretty well goofed up with a improper restoration.
I'd rock a Bass Nautique if I could find one that clean. I consider my 05 SANTE to be a Correct Craft. Nautique to me is just a model name. I do not call my truck a Ram by Dodge. Can you even get "CorrectCraft" on the stern of a boat anymore ?
i consider my boat to be made by correct craft as well, but if someone asks me what kind it is or what i have i say super air nautique 210 team, or for those in the know, SANTE
Can you even get "CorrectCraft" on the stern of a boat anymore ?
This is what I am saying. I feel like they have lost part of the identity that they once had. I know all my boats say Correct Craft on them in more place than one.
Invn01, I think that Bass Nautique is still for sale. Time to rock both ends of the spectrum.
