I hate to do it but I gota do some complaing here. I know its the Correct Craft. But the dealers( in my case ) 1st the hose on the raw water pump, not hooked up and not long enough. Which could of been ugly had not installed the led lights. But then I got the eq installed and was trying to set the amps. I could not get the towers to work as soon as I tried turning them up it shuts the amp off briefly. So I try hooking it up differently etc etc. Try this try that, then some how I discover only 1 tower speaker runs of one wire. And the other 3 on the other! Maybe the dealers don't know what they are doing. Or they are lazy and don't take pride in their work. The crest carpet they intalled. Buttons broke already, I can't get a few done up so it has to be stretched to get them hooked up. One Battery STONE dead. Sorry I had to do it, had to let that out. lol but on a positive side, the guy who installed the eq and extra amp said he has never worked on a boat so well built. So thumbs up to correct craft! Keep up the good work!

RE: Hate to do it but....
i think CC should have better training for their dealers as far as prepping boats and stereo installs. Instead, they just pay them money to prep for the customer.

I would think there is a checklist for the dealer to follow to prep a new boat?
Its the dealers responsibility to make sure everything on the boat is correct before it leaves
their shop.

I am still trying to figure out the relevance of Mr. Cotton's comment...
I avoid having service work done on my boats by anyone but myself. There isn't anyone within 500 miles I would want to take my boat to for service. I have had tremendous luck by simply taking care of my stuff, and doing all PM routinely. I have had to teach myself a lot, and ask a lot of questions, but I know my boats inside and out.the WakeSlayer

You got it right, when I work on my boat I'm not trying to make a profit. So if it takes more time
to make it perfect that's the way its done. To me working on my boat is as joyful as using it. Weather its cleaning
or major repairs I always put in the extra effort. My dealer has been great but its still a nerve racking
experience to bring my baby in.

When I worked at a Correct Craft dealer, we just took the boats to a trusted and good shop that did automotive audio installs as their main business. I doubt any boat dealer does enough volume of custom audio work to justify the training and equipment expense of having the ability to do it on site, at the boat dealer.
When I took Correct Craft boats to the audio shop, for installs, I also saw Malibus, and Mastercrafts there.

The dealer here in SoCal (California Correct Craft) has an awesome technician (Eddie) who does amazing work. I watched him rebuild a carburator in about 20 minutes on a patio table a couple of years ago at the Reunion in Lake Havasu just so a customer could use his boat...no charge.
As far as stereo stuff...he knows his stuff. I don't know if it's because he's been doing it for so long or because he has a passion for it, but he does great work. I would recommend my shop to anyone. They really do a great job.
Not only is Eddie great, but the Service Manager (Mack) really cares about the customers experience. If there is something that is no perfect, Mack takes care of it to make sure they have happy customers.BKinSoCal - Brian

I take our boat to Nautiques of Orlando - always easy. Wish I could do some repairs myself but then I would never be in the water with my family because I would have made it worse

well, I attempted to put the boat out on the lake tonight. Its a little early but I can't wait no longer. So I fired it up on the trailer in the dock. Just gunna make sure my hose was gunna hold. And all of a sudden out comes a stream of water from the bildge. Right on......So I pull the carpet back open the floor up and its coming out the bottom of the v drive. Last I was told I was to put gas in it and go its ready to roll. My, I guess I should of check everything prior to this. But I also haven't owned a v-drve before either. Not a happy camper at all.2008 SANTE 210 Orange Baby! Current
