    2000 SS Houston Area

    Guys,

I saw this on craiglist. Dont know anything about the boat or owner, just thought it might be a sweet deal for someone in Texas.

I saw this boat and was thinking that it might be a pretty sweet deal too but then I got to thinking once you add a trailer, new dimension tower, sounds, PP and ballast....you're basically back up to the price of a lot of well equipped and newer boats for sale right now.

The teak on that boat looks like absolute s#%t (unless the camera just turned the amber brown somehow to a grey/white tone), hopefully the rest of the boat was taken better care of...sorry, it's been a long day :???:

The boat has 100 Hours on it. Pick up a used trailer for 1500 or so. By adding the option you want, you get to set it up like you want it and haven't wasted $$$ to redo somebodys work. I think It looks like a deal. JMO

On a lift 100 Hours on motor.

Agree didn't get the unreliable engine comment.

Might be worth the drive flight.

There are a lot of guys who get these boats and just don't use them like they thought they would. I am guessing this is a good deal for someone. Maybe beat him up a little.

                Well I bought it!
It is in very nice condition. The previous owner did not use it much. The teak needs to be refinished, but the pics make it look horrible. I will post more pics and info when I get it this weekend. All I can say is that I got it quite a bit less than advertised.

I don't know about the "unreliable engine comment" either...it is a GT-40 that runs like a top!

Congrads TC3, Welcome to the ugly N club. Not sure if it just because I own one now, however before I got my ugly N boat I hated the 2000-2001 graphics now after owning the boat the last 2 years I love the N and the GT40 motor is great.

when i say that it's because in past experiences boats with very low hours weren't used because they were broken. i hope that isn't the case and i hope you get years and years of fun on the water with it. i do love the boat. my first nautique experience was a 2001, then an actual 2001 year model, and then a 2001 210 that looks just like yours but with a tower and i love the graphic and the boat.

It looks like an awesome boat! You will love that boat. I miss my super sport all the time. There is no sound like a GT-40...My new ZR-6 sounds so weak compared to my ss. For way under 20K you are going to have a sweet setup! Can't wait to see new pics!

                              Good LucK!
