I want an OTT cover, our last boat(SV 211) we had the standard cover which I didn't like. I want everything covered with this boat. There are no local canvas shops near us. RE: OTT Boat Cover

Do you want a cover you can take with you or only something for your lift? I don't know if you'll find an "off the shelf" cover that goes over the tower. I used to have one that covered everything (with the tower folded down). It was a custom canvas job but it would be $1000+ to remake it. In the grand scheme of things it's probably worth it, but we all have to live with a budget

I've been talking to some folks on here about covers recently. Look through my recent posts to see pictures of my (now defunct) cover.

            RE: boat cover

When you get the cover, post some pictures. I had been all about getting side skirts too, but I don't keep my boat on the water. I think you get more sun damage if you're on the water.

                RE: boat cover

I had a local place make a custom ott cover for my 236. its one of the best purchaces I've made. so far this spring, the boat is much much cleaner than last spring. I did have to have some of the areas reinforced with vinyl where the tower hingers are. its also a bit of a pain to get around the swim platform. The boat is just so big the platform hangs past the end of my dock.

Thanks Belsam. Talked to Pete today. Nice guy. Seems like the type you like to do business with! He's looking to see if he has any pics of OTT's he's done that he can post or email. What's the word on your boat?

Skitundra, CC said the boat would be ready the 1st of May...............some reason it's been pushed back to the end of May. I guess it's o.k. I can't really use the boat 'til June anyway. Looking forward to it.

kinda hard to see. took it with my phone and there was a big storm rolling in. we were rushing to put everything on.

goes alll the way around the swimplatform, and my bimini is up in that picutre.

I'd recommend getting one local if you can. I've already had to reinforce a couple areas, adn I think im going to have them add a zipper door. so I dont ave to take the whole thing off to get into the boat.

Do you know how much your cover weighs? Is it a single or two piece? How difficult to put on? How does it fasten down? Zipper access is great idea!

                              Thanks,
