12 foot it is. My architect is coming out Wednesday. Wish me luck. After he draws plans (he gets a prize if I don't have to cut down my Pin Oak.) then it's off to the board to get approved. What a pain in the butt. Then I get to start building it. Trying to decide if I wanna do it myself, or have it done. I'm thinking have this one done, as it's a pretty big project. I was also thinking to have them rough it and I could finish, but I really prefer the rough go to the detail work... Eh, whatevah.. I'll sort it out.

Another question... Will 30 foot deep be enough for a 2003 SANTE with the platform on? We can assume a swing away tongue, as I can get that on the new (ish) boat when I get her. Thanks!

I am currently building a new home with a detached garage that has 11 ft doors so I can store my 210 without folding the tower. My 210 on the trailer is about 10.5 ft from ground to the tow point on the tower. I had two companies price doors and after two different quotes, 11 ft doors were cheaper than 12 ft.

My building has a 3 ft brick curtain wall on a 30'x30' poured slab with 10 ft wall studs to give me the 13 ft ceiling height I need. Had I went with 12 ft doors, not only would I had to spend more on the doors, but I would have also had to go with 12 ft studs. Quite a bit more cash.

I will post some pics when it is done.

Absolutely. I have my 2008 210 in a 24' x 24' right now. Platform is on and the tongue isn't broke, although I have the ability to. Tight fit but it works.

So 30' deep and I could walk around the back with the platform on?, etc.? I'm thinking 11' garage doors would be good, too, but I would've hated to buy a new 210 and find it wouldn't fit. Thanks a million!

My 220 is stored in a 26' garage with just enough room to walk behind the platform. The tongue is swung away though. As far as the doors, why not go 8-10' and have 12' ceilings. Back it in with the tower down and stand it up after. I'm assuming it would be much cheaper, plus you won't have a super tall looking garage...unless that's what you want.

I believe I have 12' ceilings in my garage and can't stand the tower up. This is one area the Titan tower would be SWEET.

I have a garage that is 30'x30'x with 10' ceiling and an 8' door (township wouldn't allow me to put a 10' door in for a "luxury item". On all my Malibu VLX's with Titan towers I have been able to stand my tower up in the garage. I really hope that my 230 fits the same.

alright then. I'm going with a 25'30' with an 11 foot door, and twelve foot ceilings. Should be good times. I'll have to get some pictures up. Thanks!

Will not work. The rails and the motor for your garage doors will kill a lot of that 12' ceiling. They mount to the ceiling and hang down quite a bit.

I was also considering a side sliding door on the enterance for the boat. Not sure if that possible, but I would love to have a door that went sideways and rolled up. minimize the space required. That would be awesome, plus you wouldn't need a super tall structure.

Our barn uses sliding doors, 12 foot tall double doors, 20 ft wide on one end, 25 ft wide on the other end. They were much cheaper than comparable rollups.

I'm going to check and see if my HOA allows it. Quite a pain in the butt, but I guess it's worth it to have the lake there. Unfortunately you just can't tell everyone else to shove off, eh? anyways, I'll get some prices together and get some pics up as progress starts!
