    Tallest Nautique?

    Hey all,

I'm building a new garage to house the Nautique and vintage car. I feel like my progression of boats will be my 1989 with a tower that I have now, then a 95-99 super sport, then an 03 sante, then probably a new sante. What I want to know is how tall would the tallest of these be with a tower NOT folded down. I would like to back right in and out of the garage without messing with the tower. I'm wondering if a ten foot high garage door will accomodate a 220 or 230 with a tower up? I figure if I'm building it I might as well make it as big as I'll ever need it, right?

    Thanks!!

I am doing the same thing, building a garage for the boat. On my 09 230 the highest point on the tower is right at 10 feet tall. Is is on a Dorsey trailer. I am making the door 11 feet tall for my garage.

I agree with 11' garage door. My 2001 SAN is also 10' on a Dorsey.

A 12 foot door is a standard size door and would be cheaper than an 11 foot door to buy. My 236 on the illusion trailer with 20's is approx 11'4" it goes under the 12 foot door on my storage unit just fine.

Hey Bullet, I think we have talked about this before. How tall is your 220 on the dorsey with the tower down.
                thanks Terry

My only problem is that if I make a 12 foot door with an overhead garage door, then I'm up to a 14 foot interior ceiling. ouch.. I might put a slider on that side and a 10 foot overhead on bay two. Then again, if I keep the ceiling high I could do indoor cornhole when it's raining... hmmm...

guys there is no way that those numbers are with the tower up. we have a 12 footer at the shop I work at and we always have to put the tower down on boats.

Dude, I'd check that door. That would mean whatever boat you're moving is 3' higher than my 211. Between a taller trailer and bigger boat, maybe, but I'd be suprised.

i own a 236 and have measured it with the flight control tower up on the illusion with 20's it is about 11'4" your shop doors must be 10 feet. I know my shed has a 12 foot door and it fits just fine
