I have to disagree. there are some who have gotten disgusted with the illusion tower, but quite a few people love them and are offended that CC and Tige have "copied" them. Personally, i like the Illusion on my friend's Sunscape. Looks good, different from all the 4 legged towers. Yes, we both wish it was higher, and occasionally the rope catches a rack, but overall, it performs well. the quietest tower i've ever been around. just my .02

IMO the illusion tower is "okay", but not great. I've ridden on my fair share of BU's and I've seen some of the towers hold up extremely well and others not so much. It's rare but I've seen the BU illusion tower crack. This was caused by hitting a large cabin cruiser roller, not a riders tension, but nonetheless only having 2 anchor points for the tower leaves them very susceptible to stress fractures. I imagine the Tiges and CC towers could face the same problems. I will say that I think the BU tower looks better than the roswell. It flows with the lines of the boat better IMO. The Roswell tower looks like an afterthought to CC's newly designed hulls.

Question, does anyone know the price differences in the roswell v. titan v. FCT?

I was told that the Roswell is $800.00 less than the Titan.

Great looking tower on the red and white 220, as soon as they get rid of the i/o rear seating arrangement, they'll really have something.

No S*&T! Can someone drop some information on my dumb self and tell me what they were trying to accomplish with the i/o hump in the 220?

Hey Splash. Sorry, been out of town for the past week and a half. Don't know the mechanics of it, but yeah it holds its own weight as it folds down. When it gets near the fully lowered position you actually have to pull down to get it to its final spot. No chance of it rubbing against anything. I've travelled with it down and it didn't budge at all.

I'm surprised that its only offered in black and not in stainless steel like mine. While black would look great on certain color schemes, it sure wouldn't fit with my red and white. Stainless would cover off pretty much all boat colors .

It's been stated somewhere in here that they are having a problem with the SS finish. I'm sure it's coming. My question is are the others coming in black? It'd be great on my b/w

The SS finsh has a "fogging" problem. Only option is black. It's a glossy black that really does look good in person (the color, not commenting on tower).

                            Camo...thanks...

I like the idea of an easily folded down tower that can be trailered in that position. I hate cleaning the bug guts off my tower and speakers after a long trip. Wonder how much our gas mileage is affected by our towers? Probably not much I am guessing....

A friend swore he saw at least a 1mpg increase by lowering his MC tower, so I tried it. I didn't see a change and didn't like riding with it down. The difference may be speakers and racks, though. I don't have either.
