Thank you! It is a 99 and I bought it late in 04 with 85K miles. It is very clean. 99 was the last year they made them.Originally posted by Andrewnice 2 door!
I shopped for over two years by putting an autotrader.com advanced search thread in my Windows Start Up. Every morning when I'd boot the machine at work, I'd skim over for new additions. This one showed up and I snagged it.
Only problem....heche en Mexico.

Hi all, 1st post although I have been lurking here a while. I finally got rid of my moomba LS and picked up my new to me 06 220 TE this week. I am very sad to learn that even with the tower folded down she isnt going into my basement. I am sick to think of her having to stay outdoors year around but that looks like what will happen. Question is where can I get a cover like the one in para`s pic and what might it cost a freshly broke new nautique owner? Does it have poles in it to keep water from standing? If I could find something like that it would be my best option against fading etc. Thanks all for your help I have enjoyed all of your posts and pics I have been looking at in the past weeks.

Rubrail Screws wearing through cover
I had the same problem with my new Rankin cover. The rub rail screws rubbed through my cover after one trip in certain spots. Has anybody else had this problem and found a solution? I thought about seeing if a upholstry shop could attach some type of extra fabric along the rub-rail line inside the cover? The cover already has reinforced felt in certain spots...just not along the rub rail.Originally posted by mathews01I've got an 07 with the metal rub rail held in place by screws. The screws did wear through the rankin cover after one 500 mile trip, so I have learned to put a towel in between the boat and cover so the screws don't continue to beat up the cover. But as stated above, if I loosen the bow stop on the ram-lin I can get the cover and towels on and off without an issue - although there isn't much space to work with. Premature wearing is an issue, at least on the newer boats with the metal rub rail.
Also, I've noticed the cover rubbed the top edges of my front seats and discolored the vinyl. I'm thinking I should probably put a towel back there before towing? Any other ideas?2007 Air Nautique 211

Re: Rubrail Screws wearing through cover
Yeah, I haven't towed with the cover on since that first time. I don't like towing with it off because the interior seems to get covered with a layer of black dust, but I guess that's better than the other issues (tears along rub rail, discolored seat edge, and windshield frame rubs.Originally posted by AirToolTow with the cover off.Originally posted by ksarbauAny other ideas?
Based on what I had heard from others, I thought towing with the Rankin covers was not a problem.2007 Air Nautique 211
