It fits great. Pretty easy to put on, basically the same as any cover when it comes to how hard it is to put on. Clearly a very precise fit. Well worth the $$$ IMO.

I saw some pics over on CCF. What year is your boat and do you have any transom shots? I'm interested in how it's attached and whether than is ANY exposed transom.Originally posted by M3FanIt fits great. The boat is a 2000 and I don't have any other pics of the transom besides that one. The cover has rigid "J" shaped pieces of plastic along the outer edge which grab onto the rubrail for a very secure fit. The very back of the transom, such as the lifting ring back there and the words "World Champion Ski Boat" are NOT covered by the Rankin. The rear straps attach to the handrail and the platform brackets, I believe, but I'm still getting clarification there. It should be pretty clear based on that one picture how much of the transom is exposed.

Sorry M3Fan, my bad, I only saw (until a minute ago)your pics on the 3rd page of the CCF thread. That picture of the transom on page 2 illustrates it well.Originally posted by M3FanThe boat is a 2000 and I don't have any other pics of the transom besides that one. I was part of the first group buy but have not received the cover yet. This is not a big deal since my 2007 211 has not been delivered to the dealer! I'm just curious how the group buy is progressing.

I believe this group buy was a complete success. Rankin was terrific to deal with, and they reported no issues with any of the covers. I havent heard of any problems from anyone who bought a cover either, so I think this buy worked well for everyone involved.1990 Ski Nautique
