WTB Rear Hatch bracket 06 SN 206

I made a bone head move and tried to back my 2006 Ski Nautique 206 into my garage with the rear hatch open. I bent one of the brackets pretty bad. The replacement bracket is no longer available to purchase. Attached is the listing from PlanetNautique that shows the part. Anyone know where i might find one?

The listing referred to in original post is from NautiqueParts not PlanetNautique. Sorry about that.

Ouch. These NLA parts are just painful. A few ideas.

I'd ask NautiqueJeff if he happens to have one in his parts bin that's he can to sell.

Are you sure the hinge can't be banged back into a workable state? I'd certainly try that...maybe even consider taking it to an automotive body shop or similar where they have some skilled metalists who might be able to recover the part.

It's possible that if you can describe the hinge well enough, you may find a commercial off the shelf substitute. AI can be helpful here developing the description and keywords for the search; I'd give that a try.

Finally, Miami Nautique is a good alternative supplier to Nautique Parts. Maybe see what they might be able to do.

Hope this helps....let us know how it goes.

Thanks for the reply @SilentSeven. I did take some time yesterday to use a mallet to see if i could bang it back into shape. The good news is that i was able to bang it back in shape and get it reinstalled. I may still buy a replacement knowing that this is an unavailable part to purchase. I aplreciate the leads. Thanks.
