ISO HO Shock XL bindings or similar...

I have an HO Comp Freeride 69" ski which came with those bindings.

Unfortunately for me, my feet are larger than my son's - the buyer, almost 20 years ago - and I've separated/expanded/spoiled the neoprene fabric between the rubber and the fastening/screw plate at the bottom of the tongues.

As old (2007 vintage) as these are I doubt I'd find any parts, but perhaps someone's taken off a set of shocks on the way up to current generation boots.
Adjustable 10-15 range is what I'm looking for, to teach other adults the joy of standing on water

Current project includes reseating all the boot plate receivers (with epoxy, this time!!) in anticipation of finding older gear with the same footprint, or, just maybe, parts or full front and rear Shocks, installing new receivers for my new boots for the 72" HO TNT I found, and keeper bar for adult trainers' receiver for the T 1/4-20 hold-downs (an HO product to keep newbies from doing the splits)...

FWIW, I'm an old-schooler whose favorite boat was an 80s Nautique, and I also had (later stolen from my son's storage locker, apparently, as it disappeared) a custom HO 72" made for a rep, with NAUTIQUE on the tunnel:

    O'Brien Z9 as a rear boot?

    Stupid Question time:

I much prefer full rear boots. Just a personal preference...

    But...

What makes a "rear" different from a "front" on a functional level?

While I've got HO Animal XXL rear on my personal ski, I have a suitable trainer for newbies (HO Comp Freeride wide 69" - the one on the left in the top picture) with effectively dead HO XL Shocks (shoe-size 10-15 lacers) front and rear. Wiley's wants $120 each to fix the tongues.

This is solely a spare, trainer-function, ski and won't get much, and never get hard/course, use, so I don't want to spend a lot, I wonder:
Would an O'Brien Z9 also be a suitable rear full boot?

The Shocks have a longer/larger front tongue, but the same shell and footpad, with, of course, different plates. I can't see any difference on a skiing level.

So, what about two Z9s, as O'Brien makes only RTPs for the back? I can get a (NEW) pair for ~$150...

    TIA for any intel!

You might get more feedback at www.ballofspray.com - great community of slalom skiers.

Can't help you with any HO bindings but a lot of slalom skiers like Wiley's bindings. I have them on my ski and they are awesome. https://wileyski.com/slalom-bindings/
