WTB - Mooring and Travel Cover for 2007 SAN 210 TE

    Hi!

I am looking for a mooring and travel cover for my 2007 SAN 210 TE Nautique. (No ties to the trailer)

The guy that made a cover for my 1990 BF Nautique has retired.

I would like a cover with a ratchet system that is made tight enough that it doesn't require any support poles in the boat and will still keep all rainwater running off the cover.

My boat has the Flight Control Tower, evidently referred to as the FCT-1 (not the black FCT-2).

I am open to a used cover in good condition or a recommendation for someone that can make a new one for me.

    Thank you,

    Jeff

If you do not need to fold the tower, go with an over the tower with skirts. The rain will not pool and everything will be protected from the weather and you will not have to mess with adjusting poles, straps...

An over the tower cover won't work with towing nor with mooring. I don't know if Coversports/Brent Fleming are still doing custom covers but he would be able to make one such as what you've described. No poles and can be used when towing or mooring, altho you likely would want to request the zipper sections be added to access the cleats for mooring. I never added the cleat cutouts to mine (08 SAN 210) and typically tie off the rear pylon and nose ring, but it'd be easier with the cleat sections.

          Hi jhiestand,

Thank you for the information! It appears that Brent is still in business, and I have reached out to him for an estimate.

Popular wisdom is that brent's covers take a while. Use caution if you're in a hurry. I have a brent cover and it's great...but it took him about 8 or 12 weeks to deliver.

I'll echo what SilentSeven said. I absolutely love my cover from Brent, but be prepared for less than stellar customer service.
