Depending if you're looking to make this a hobby (pulling parts off the boat), I would find someone with the background and ability to take the whole thing off your hands with as little pain as possible. I know several of the people from here looking for parts and wouldn't hesitate for a second working with them if parting out the boat is what you want to do. Based on condition, I personally wouldn't want to work on it without going nuts with a pressure washer and even then I would be praying there were no biting insects living in there to deal with. Nothing like putting you bare hands in blind confined spaces behind the dash to make for an encounter with some insect or critter of some sort.

If you go down the whole boat path it would appear Jeff was the first person looking at the whole boat. I've seen several posts from Jeff picking up boats in somewhat similar condition so for me anyways, he would be my first choice.

To me, hitting the easy button would be top on my list to moving on from this boat.

Again, I am interested in the gateway and gauges if you do part it out. Also, if anyone takes on the restoration (Jeff?) I could certainly refurbish the gauges and possibly get the gateway working.

If you can get the trailer capable of making the trip to North Carolina (lights, tires, bearings), I will gladly come pick it up and pay for the trailer work. Not sure if it is savable or not, but it might be and I would love to take a shot at it.

Talked to a buddy today who's great w/ trailers. in the next 2-3 weeks will be getting new tires, all new hubs,extra hub and new spare, etc and test drive her a few times as well as getting the surface grime off. Will contact when its done. I've got all kinds of ideas and know there are boats out there ready to go, but a family or even a couple buddies could go in on this and have like a brand new boat. cant wakeboard solo right. Hope everyone has a great weekend.

Let me talk to Jeff as he was first to commit to picking it up. I'm in mobile, al. i have to get new tires and check bearings at a bare minimum before i'd feel comfortable letting anyone tow it out of the parking lot. sure it's not my problem anymore and whomever would be well aware, but nobody needs to go through avoidable roadside issues in this heat. plan to have it ready to roll in less than 2 weeks.
