Thank you Jeff for following up, that is a good deal. I’m actually in the process of buying a used trailer that should suit my needs, so as soon as it’s official I’ll delete this post. Appreciate the options!

That's a good deal. I ordered a new one from Boatmate, identical to that, for a cool $7,500.

trbo I just acquired a very nice 2017 Boatmate trailer with a boat that I just purchased. We're probably going to part out the boat and sell the trailer. I would let this one go for $5,900 if you're interested. I am still waiting for the paperwork to be completed on it, but it will have a clear title in my name soon. This trailer is built for a Sport Nautique, so it is about 18" longer than a Ski Nautique trailer, but it should still fit fine. It tows very nicely, all of the lights work, and I just put new tires on it.

Appreciate the correction on the model, I'm buying the boat from a family member to help them out so I wasn't paying too much attention to the details. The boat is currently on a much larger trailer that is being borrowed, so I may need to take you up on your old Ram-Lin to swap trailers in order for me to return the borrowed one. I'm about 25 miles to the lake, so long-term I think my wife will want a less wobbly ride to the lake. I'm too new to the forum to DM anyone, but I would be interested in discussing. Okay for me to give Silver Cove Marine a call to discuss?

All three of those are definitely still in business.

I got your VM this morning about the one at Silver Cove Marine. That trailer is actually for a 230, and is about 25' long. I think it would be way too big for what you're trying to do.

I do have a REALLY crappy Ram-Lin galvanized Ski Nautique trailer. It is very rusty and has auxiliary lights since the originals don't work. It wobbles when you pull it down the road. We use it as a yard trailer, but I would sell it for $500 if you're interested in it. Not sure how far you need to pull your boat to get to the water. If it is very close, this trailer may be an option for you.

Also, your boat is not a 196. It is a Ski Nautique. The 196 moniker didn't start until 2003.

I’m looking for a trailer for the subject boat. I have requests for new trailer quotes in with Phoenix, Boatmate, and Ram-Lin, though I’m not sure they’re still in the business, but my preference would be to find a used one in decent condition. Definitely not looking for a project trailer. I’m in the Raleigh, NC area so looking along the east coast and willing to drive a bit.
