I have reduced the sale price to $14,900 in hopes of a quick sale.

Someone grab this!
Good Lord. I can't believe you can get into a Super Sport for a penny less than 20k.
Someone frikking jump on this. You'll be hard pressed to find one with hours that low. Slap a tower on it and you have a Super Air Nautique. Done.
Wow. I just hope this isn't a fire sale kind of thing. Hope you're ok. Are you getting a replacement boat? The price is curiously low. Has it been in salt water - brackish even?
If not this is completely bananas. Someone GRAB THIS. She's beautiful.

I just recieved a deposit for the boat so it is no longer for sale
I could not even get anyone to come out and look at the boat. A guy in Kansas put down deposit and is getting a heck of a deal on my predicament.

Well what's the predicament? Nah never mind.
And did you see how long it floated around on here before experts were saying "holy mackerel" at the price and doing what I did - reacting in a strongly positive way? You posted on April 26 and then May 3 and as of today it's sold. Badda boom.
That was fast and you definitely came to the right place at Planet Nautique.
Maybe I am insane but since that's an all-fiberglass or composite boat, with a GT40, and it is in sweet shape, you are indeed giving someone a kick-azz deal. It's a h3ll of a good boat. One of the best hulls ever made.
...but this deal is killer by like 5 grand. So as I said earlier, I hope you're ok. 'Predicament' indeed. I won't pry.
Let us know someday if you replace it with something. Congrats on ther fast sale, super mega congrats to the buyer Mr. Kansas.

Now I'm sad! Been following the ad and the topics here since the day the ad popped up. Been hoping for a little miracle (someone buying my boat for a good price) ever since, and also been VERY surprised it didn't sell the first day.
Congrats with the sale. I just hope another deal like this will pop up when I'm ready to buy.

My point overall is that deals like this are going to be exceedingly rare for awhile.Last edited by Erik; 05-08-2011, 12:40 PM.

I did the same with my 93 sport 2 years ago. Im sure a few remember I listed it for 15ish but went to 12K for a quick sale. It sold in 2 weeks. The boat was mint, the engine had under 500hours, the interior was mint, the boat was turn key, had a shower, had a brand new ND tower with board racks on it. I regretted getting rid of it for that price, but it was september/october and I wanted to roll the money into the 03sante I purchaced just weeks before and the sale time was closing very quickly with frozen lakes approaching. The quick sale was worth more than holding it for 6 months and trying agin to get the 15K and get negotiated down to 13.5 or13K. Was 6 months worth an extra 1000, in my mind, it wasnt. It would barely cover the interest in the difference on the loan over those 6 months.

Perhaps you could take short term loans to pay the interest. By the way, that Super Sport looks great. Are you sure you wanted to sell that?

If I hadn't just bought a 2000 SAN, I would have bought this boat. I recommended it to a friend, but it was too far a drive for him and he wanted a little bit newer. If I weren't married, I would have bought it and flipped it. But my penchant for buying boats is a particular pressure point for the wifey that I do not intend to revisit any time soon. Now
