Hey bbc3.... Sorry for the wait been gone all weekend. I love my trip. I wouldn't ride anything else but LF. She cuts on a dime and the pop is like nothing else I've ever ridden. I've tried Neptune( are they in bizz anymore), Hyperlite, and Double up. I'm no professional by anymeans and being 36 yrs old this body doesn't recover well from bad falls. KGB's, Pete Rose's, etc. aren't in my trick book( and never will be). I can't imagine 04's would be any diff than and 01 other than graphics. I've compared rocker and width to an 03 and I couldn't tell any diff. The 6 fin set up makes the board track great and once you get used to it your never go back to a double fin set up. You can still do surface spins with it but just like any higherend board you can't get lazy or it WILL BITE you. It rides through chop great and on glass it's almost better than sex! (almost!) I can tell a big difference in ride from a standard board to the new wider board. My previous was a Best Board and I went through two of them. If you compared a trip to another make they all seem pretty much the same to me as far as width, rocker, and channeling. I'm sure a pro rider could tell a big difference but like I said to a twice a week boarder I prob couldn't. It seems to be a popular board here in GA on the south side of ATL because 3 of my Bud's all ride one and I've noticed quite a few more on the lake I ride on. Oh yeah, not to brag but was on the lake both Fri and Sat., Mid 70's, no clouds,no wind,no jet skiers/mosquito,s, nothing but net!

Thought I would revive this thread for the 2005 season...
My dealer threw in a new board and bindings with the purchase of my new '05 210 TE. I chose...
Murray 138.1 DNA with Murray Bindings
Also have Hyperlite Landlocked
I have a ski somewhere in the garage, but I'm not sure I can find it under the layers of dust.
Occassionally, when the water is really nice, I'll jump out there with just a rope. I've never had a boat anywhere get me up on my bare feet faster than my Nautique. I can't even imagine the 0-40mph time of a direct drive.

Don't do much foiling so the old chair probably won't get replaced. Last weekend I took it out while the water was rough at Shasta rode it for about 15 minutes same for the wife. We are just not into it anymore. I might like it more if I could ever land the flip.

I forgot about this thread. Picked up some jumpers last summer at a garage sale, $5 a pair! Again, went overboard on the restoration and dropped like $50 in materials. Process included sanding, priming, painting and clearcoating. Spray clearcoating is worthless and I'll never do it again, when applied by hand and sanded it will look just as nice and last. My efforts were in vain though and one cracked up the middle on their first run.

You Midwest Rippers seem so divinely smug and upper middle class new wave chic-tarded that I almost want to be skiing again at Sweetwater Lake in southern Indiana where my folks once had a place and Devo rocked supreme on our boat's cassette tape player. Party on Powers Lake Boat Club, and be sure to Use Your Freedom of Choice...
A victim of collision on the open sea
Nobody ever said that life was free
Sank, swam, go down with the ship
But use your freedom of choice
I’ll say it again in the land of the free
Use your freedom of choice
Your freedom of choice
In ancient rome there was a poem
About a dog who found two bones
He picked at one
He licked the other
He went in circles
He dropped dead
Freedom of choice
Is what you got
Freedom of choice!
Then if you got it you don’t want it
Seems to be the rule of thumb
Don’t be tricked by what you see
You got two ways to go
I’ll say it again in the land of the free
Use your freedom of choice
Freedom of choice
Freedom of choice
Is what you got
Freedom of choice!
