    ORLANDO, FLA (January 20, 2012) – Today, Nautique announced its first 100% electric wakeboard boat, the Super Air Nautique 230 E.

    Since debuting the Ski Nautique E a year ago, Nautique has been working to develop a 100% electric wakeboard boat and today Nautique introduces to the world, the Super Air Nautique 230 E.

    The first viewing of the Super Air Nautique 230 E will be at the Detroit Boat Show on February 11-19, 2012 in the Silver Spray Sports Nautique dealership exhibit. This boat will make additional appearances at Nautique events throughout 2012.

    This first-of-its kind 100% electric Super Air Nautique 230 E contains two automotive electric motors that provide all the power necessary to meet the everyday needs of our customer. Combined, these two electric engines offer a powerful 160 kW of peak output. Like the Ski Nautique E, the electric motors connect through a transfer case to the propeller shaft of the boat producing performance worthy of the Nautique Brand.

    The Super Air Nautique 230 E is equipped with state of the art lithium ion batteries with an available storage capacity of up to 78 kW-hours.

    Orlando, FLA (December 19, 2011) – Nautique announces the 53rd Masters Water Ski & Wakeboard Tournament will be held May 25-27, 2012 at the beautiful Callaway Gardens in Pine Mountain, Georgia, during the Memorial Day Weekend.

    Additionally, Nautique has named Lisa Steiner the Chief Judge of 3-event waterskiing and Rob Corum as the Chief Judge of wakeboarding and wakeskating for the 53rd Masters.

    “As an official it has been rewarding to be challenged by the "greatest" athletes in watersports over the years. Now, to be recognized as the Chief Judge this year is truly the greatest honor. Nautique and Callaway Gardens continually puts a tournament on that is beyond expectation. With the technological innovations in the sport and having these elite presenters and athletes of this tournament, I cannot express how delighted I am to accept this opportunity to continue the tradition of greatness,” commented Lisa Steiner.

    ORLANDO, FLA (October 10, 2011) — Yesterday, the Nautique Asian Waterski & Wakeboard Championships concluded in Putrajaya, Malaysia breaking two National records while many athletes achieved personal bests.

    Aaliyah Yoong Hanifah, the youngest tournament competitor set a new Malaysian National record and won the gold in under 17 Tricks event. Japan’s Saaya Hirosawa also set an Asian Championship Jump record over the weekend. The Nautique Asian Waterski and Wakeboard Championships were exclusively towed by the world record breaking Ski Nautique 200 and the Super Air Nautique 210.

    “The organizers and athletes were very pleased with the performance of the new Super Air Nautique 210 and Ski Nautique 200,” commented Hanifah Yoong, event organizer. “Many personal bests have been achieved plus there were two national records broken behind the Ski Nautique 200,” added Yoong.

    “This was a great event and all of the competitors enjoyed performing behind Nautique boats,” stated Nautique President/CEO Bill Yeargin. “It is truly an honor to support the growth of watersports not only in Asia, but globally,” added Yeargin.

    ORLANDO, FLA (October 5, 2011) — Earlier this week, a group of Nautique employees traveled to Yetebon, Ethiopia to visit Project Mercy, an organization Nautique supports.

    Project Mercy, Inc., is a U.S. based not-for-profit relief and development agency that promotes education, health care, and other holistic community development projects in Ethiopia to create economically independent communities with high ethical and social values. Nautique employees spent time reviewing Project Mercy’s extensive support for the Ethiopian people and brainstormed how Nautique can continue to help Project Mercy with current and new projects.

    This is the sixth service trip Nautique employees have taken outside of the Central Florida in the past four years. The previous five trips have included two trips to Mexico to build homes for needy families, a trip to work at a center for homeless mothers in Nicaragua, a trip to build beds for disadvantaged families in Guatemala and this past summer a trip to help build homes on the Apache Reservation in Arizona.

    “It was amazing to see first-hand the incredible work Project Mercy is doing to help the people of Ethiopia,” stated Nautique President/CEO Bill Yeargin. “I encourage everyone to learn more about this incredible organization at Project Mercy,” added Yeargin.
