Really would like find a good used trailer for my 92 Ski Nautique but just can’t seem to get there.
if I had to buy a new old, what advice,and from whom?
I already understand the bite it will take from wallet.

A lot of people seem to be complaining about Boatmate lately and I've had some issues with the BIL's trailer I needed to remedy. I have a Phoenix trailer that has been good so maybe shoot them a note or call them to see what they have.

Ramlin helped me get a bow stop/crash pad for my old eagle trailer (2004 216.) I know NautiqueJeff has had Ramlin make him a trailer to the older boats (they were an OE supplier) and He's also had Boatmate make a few trailers so he could comment better than most. I've always wanted to replace my twin axle with a single axle as the twin is just huge and the "swing" on the front only takes off 1.5' and could have been built way more efficiently. Just hard to spend 40% of the boat purchase price on a new trailer for it.

Yep, Phoenix or Ram-Lin would be my choices for new trailers. Ram-Lin is kind of in reshuffling mode right now as the company has been sold, but I expect their trailer division to be back to normal soon.
