98 Air nautique speaker ?s

i have a 98 Air I was just wondering what size were the interior speakers since they need to be replaced because they sound horrible. I would like to front load them cause i think it looks better but need to know more about going that route. Any help would be greatly appreciated on the install

I'm not sure if the 98 has the same size speakers as a 2001 Air, but the interior speakers in our's are 6 1/2 inch.

Just replaced the system in my 98 Air, we went with Kicker 6.5" coaxes.

I thinking about doing that too. Do you cut the cloth covers out. How do you go about doing that

Actually we just had them mounted on top of the gunnel instead of behind it being covered by the cloth. It came out pretty well, they look cooler being able to see them in action IMO. If you want I might can get some pics this weekend if I can remember haha.
