2015 G23 Screen not allowing head unit to power on.

Has anyone had a screen go bad which prevented the head unit from powering on? The screen works fine, just no power to the head unit.

My dealer has had conversations with Nautique and they asked them to send the entire screen to them for testing. The boat is a 2015 G23 so I am out of warranty and hope the screen is not the culprit. Do you think Nautique would provide a new screen even though it's out of warranty? Any idea how much a replacement screen is?
