what do people use to conseal wiring out of the boat into the tower?just trying to get some ideas as for plugs,ss braided wire ect.pictures would be nice.i am looking for a decent looking water tight plug so when tower is removed it is just a simple unplugg of wires as apposed to pulling a bunch of wire out.any suggestions would be good i am a newbiee

What tower and boat is this on? You shouldn't have to unplug the wires when foldind down the tower. Most people use wire loom to neaten up the exposed wire but if you have to disconnect when folding just do a search for some water proof connections. I am pretty sure I saw some on Earmark marine's website the other day. Earmark is a site sponsor of PN.Current: 08 Super Air 210 Team

the tower is from diywake and it is on a 98 air,the reason i would like a plug is my father in law (owner of the boat) for some reason said he would like to take out the boat sometimes without the tower, cant see why but cant argue.me on the other hand (majority user of the boat) will always use the tower.thanks for the reply i did check out those plugs on earmark they look pretty good.i do know that quite a few people have universal towers and was hoping someone had some pics of how they did there wiring.im sure this has been brought up before and i could not find anything in my searches.Originally posted by Latonkaboarder View PostWhat tower and boat is this on? nicg,
If you'll also look throughout our installation gallery, you'll find numerous examples of chassis grommets, flexloom and heatshrink being used to dress out the exposed wiring service loops. The use of deck fittings and disconnects are shown too.
