I was trying to track down the amp shutting off problem I posted about earlier and stripped the terminal the ground attaches to. Anyone know how to fix this, other than running out and buying a new amp. Help! No tunes and weekend is near!

RE: Help, Stripped terminal on my amp!!
Thanks, I'm going to give that a try tomorrow. Talked to a buddy that recommended the same thing.

that's the fix. If you get to the point where you can't accept a bigger screw due to the head of the screw being too large move to a set screw with an internal hex, so there's no head, like a kicker amp would have, as opposed to a phillips head that flanges out. I'm not sure if that makes sense, but if you get to that point and don't get it I can post a pic.Travis Fling

Success!! Drilling it out and tapping worked perfect. Thanks for the advice.

that's always good to hear!!! How did the weekend go? I spent mine helping my FIL get the pooh out of his motorhome with a gator and a pull behind pooh dumper, since I'm STILL waiting on my new tower foot piece from Boss Wake, even though they sent it 8 days ago.. scheduled to arrive Thursday...Travis Fling

Sounds like you had a crappy weekend! (pun intended) Amp played beautiful all weekend, new battery and newly tapped terminal. Things were great until the engine trouble hit. See post in maintenance section. Feel free to chime in...
