Best road trip music?

Tommorrow I am leaving on a road trip from Wisconsin to Kentucky to pick up my new 2002 SANTE! :grin: Just wanted to start a thread to see what everyone's favorite road trip music is! I wonder if I will sleep tonight! Yellow_Flash_Colorz:

The best get down the road music is Journey. However, a buddy and I drove from Raleigh to Baltimore and then back to Charlottesville and listened to nothing but Allman Bros. That was a great trip!

Hey Ryan I am right there with you. I am leaving today from Alabama to North Carolina for my SAN TE. I loaded the Ipod last night with most of the music from UPDOG and other music that reminds me of wakeboarding. I am going to Utah next week to go snowboarding, and when I get back I am looking for 60 plus temps so I can hit the water. Good luck on you boat and have a safe trip

Are you getting it from a dealer or individual? If so, what dealer? I'm heading to Whitelake in the morning to drop mine off for some additions.

I have road tripped for all three of mine from Minnesota to:
90 SN Jamestown ND - 650miles roundtrip
92 BFN Dubuque IA - 750 miles roundtrip
99 SAN Lake Berryessa CA. - 4000 miles roundtrip
(Interestingly, My 92 BFN went from MN to Berryessa 6 months later)

Have a safe drive !!!!

I am getting it from an individual. We are meeting in Williamstown, KY. Any of you guys ever go to musicmp3.ru. Great Russian music site. .15 a song and the quality is good to. It has really boosted by music collection. Yellow_Flash_Colorz:

Zepplin has to be a good one! Chevelle, The Bravry to remind of Rusty's set, right now I can't remember if that was in Such is Life or The Butter Effect. Guess I'm wathing some movies tonight.

Oh yeah wakeboard season is almost upon us. Monday we will have to post how all our trips went. I love pulling a sick boat down the I system and seeing everyone stare and point. Mostly at the tower, "what's that for?" 8-)

Great tune. Agree. A couple of Dead shows on an ipod will get you hundreds of miles up the road. That said, it's not everybody's favorite.

When I went from Texas to St. Louis (by way of Memphis) to sell my old boat, I just plugged in the ipod, hit shuffle, and away I went. I'm trying to remember what was playing when I had tread separation. I think it was that old 80s Toto tune, "Africa." That's the trouble with mixes. You always end up listening to some song you downloaded after a few too many beers and it causes bad things to happen with your trailer tires. Should've gone with Plan A and listened to the Dead. :mrgreen:

This was a moving verse for me driving to (and from) Berryessa, I did the trip in 76 hours, including a decent nights sleep in a bed, and an afternoon of riding, and test driving.

The Dead is indeed not for everyone, but a fantastic way to pass time on the Road.
