  • Best bag for 2000 Sport

My daughters are getting bigger and better on their wake boards so I'm looking at getting a bag for the trunk.
Whats the best size bag for a 2000 Sport without factory tanks for wake boarding.
    thanks

Maybe i should rephrase this question.
How much weight should I look at putting in the trunk to help improve the wake, and hopefully still have some storage room left.

      gun-driver,

I spent some time researching on here for the same thing. I'm going to be ripping out my hard tanks, and below is enough links to reading to get me started on a solid plan. I don't know if you'll have much storage room left. I hope as you try out stuff, you continue to update on here.

Side note: What age did you start teaching them? I have three daughters, all six and under and they love tubing, but I have not tried teaching them to wakeboard/ski/surf. (I also don't have any kid-sized gear).

        Thanks for the info.
As for the kids, I got mine skiing at 2 on a ski trainer then on to skis. I don’t wake board I’m a skier/ barefooter so I had no knowledge to be able to give them to teach them.
We spent a week at the lake with a friend of ours and his boys wake boarded so of course my girls wanted to try it, they got up the first time every time and after that there’s no looking back. I credit the ability to get right on the wake board to the skiing, balance and such.
Since then it’s hard to get them back on the skis now though, they always say it’s hard to ski, I keep telling them if it was easy they call it wake boarding.
I use wakeboarding and the tube as a way to get them back on skis “ if you both do one set on the skis then we can pull the wakeboard or tube out” Seems to work as they end up Usually doing more than one set.
I don’t pull the tube out unless the water is to rough for any thing else, There’s nothing worse than seeing a nice Nautique pulling a tube when the waters good.
Good luck get them off the tube and on to something that teaches them some athletic ability. JMO
