Which slalom ski to buy

I am a serious advanced open water slalom skier looking to replace my HO Phantom water ski. I am trying to decide between the syndicate v type r and the superlite CSX. I want to stay with HO because I have relatively new boots that will fit either of these skis. Any advice/suggestions would be appreciated.

No matter what ski you are interested in you should really ski it first, any decent pro shop should allow you to demo whatever ski you want.

My ski is the 2013 model of the CSX and its all the ski I need. I would consider myself to be the same level skier you described. Its built using alot of the syndicate technology. Its also about half the price of a syndicate

Most ski companies use the same hole pattern for boots so you can likely take your HO boots and move to a different brand if your so inclined.

Call the manufacturer first! HO for example switched hole locations after a certain year. An HO rep just told me the most recent change over the phone a couple of weeks ago and I cant remember the year.
