GPS Nav Sytem and Database

Any input on GPS Nav systems and the cost and accuracy of the database for channel and depth of inland waterways. I'm in the Nashville area and we have some great water but it's deceptive. Thanks

If it comes down to customer database management project, I'd be using some complex systems for hosting, managing databases, processing the data etc. The cloud service I mentioned is also great for such projects.
