          Just throwing this out there. I have a Z5 in a 2010 that I used to have to lower a bit to get in my 9’ garage. If it doesn’t need to go all the way down you may try what I did. I made a prop rod from pvc pipe that supports the front of the Z5 and makes it easy to lower the tower part way. Since then I have been using the support when I tow and it’s great for stabilizing at highway speeds. I can get you a photo is you want more details.

            shoot me a picture. I have been dropping the tower the whole way, but i really don't need to. What I wanted to do was modify the cable that hold the tower to make it the right height.

                                I couldn't imagine what shipping would cost. I was hoping you were going to say Toronto or something. If you're seriously interested we could look at shipping options, but I would imagine it's going to be quite expensive
