  • Hang tight(tyte)

Okay so factory covers drive me insane. 2014 G21 is the boat.
I dock at my house. On whips. Thinking of a solution.

Has as anyone used hang tights for the bow ? I'm thinking one in the bow, from the front pole of the tower, one in the back under the tower and I could negate the poles and straps.

    Anyone do this?

    Thanks.

There was one on the cover of my boat when I bought it. Just under the rear of the tower. It seems to work well, but I know the cover was designed to work without poles and I'm guessing the PO added the hangtyte after.

One well placed Hangtyte has worked for me... over 4yrs on Gs.

          Two would work great.

I bought 2 anticipating that i would need one for the now and one for the cabin area. But a single one for the cabin works perfect. Its on a g23 that i have moored.

How do you install them on an existing factory mooring cover? Do you need to take the cover to someone to stitch it in?

I think you cut a slit and the HT screws onto itself holding the fabric in place. Check out their website, it shows fairly well.

I didn't need one in the bow, cut mine in where the aft pole touched cover
