looks great Dave, the colours look better then I had imagined.
When's the tower speakers going on?
I bet you boys will be happy to get back on the water seeing you when so long without a boat?

Will be few weeks before we get the whole system set up, Wetsond 485s should be on next week. The new style spiner racks are on back order form CC, and getting a new binimi made as we dont like the look of the overtop one that came with it.

Filo The boat is great to drive, havent ridden behind it yet though looks like a wakesurf summer for me as my shoulder is still shot.

On a note the changes made at the back have made maintainence on the engine really easy, one piece engine side covers with pullout pin and access flap through the back seat. All the ballast pumps are mounted high with the impellars easy to remove.

The biggest downfall of this boat in our eyes is the lack of built in cooler (the supplied igloo will be going to make room for to 15" subs) and no real usable cup holders for other than the observer and driver. A pocket needs to built into the side of the boat like the older 210s.

What i didnt like about the 220 is.
The weight and size for Australian standards. There is many options for tow vehicles which can tow the bigger boats (saying that the new 210 is only slightly lighter) The storage for the boat is small.
The 220 hull is hard to get right the boat is very weight sensative, it took a while but in the end we had it set up nicely.

What i did like on the 220 compared to the new 210 is..
Loved the bin, never know how much you miss it untill you dont have it.
Built in cooler, a big downside to the 210
Cupholders in the right location, Hint Hint CC,
These things are trivial but it all adds up to a better day in the boat, we ride form the boat and go out for 6/8 hours once at least once a week.
The shape of the wake, nice and meaty with a little steepness left in it from the old 210

Yet to spend any real time in the new boat 210 and haven ridden the wake as i need a shoulder reco so will be wake surfing all this summer.

                            01skinautiquegt40:

I'm pretty sure this has been discussed with other boats before. If you notice, Pjdave is from Australia, where that seems to be the rim of choice, since I've seen them several times. You'll also notice that it's a roller trailer instead of a bunk trailer....another thing that seems to be common everywhere except here.

                            PJDave:

                            Great colors, sharp boat. Congrats.

trailer is called an easy loader, there are two bunks on either side with the inner ones being shorter, then there is a single set of rollers on each side at the front. All Aussie nautique trailers are made by Easytow (they need a competitor) and come with load rated 15inch rims. We have a set of bigger flasher rims to bolt up. One advantage is the trailer is powdercoat over galvanizing, most U.S traler manufacturers dont galvanize standard, which is a must as most of austrailias wakeboarding is done in brackish water.
