Our Sport Nautique

Well we finally did, sold the ski nautique slalom machine, oh how I'll miss her, and purchased the family freindly Sport Natique. The wife and kid love it, and it is in great condition. It does have a little more wake than I wanted, but it will just make be a better skier. It is nice to have the extra room for the all day lake trips. This boat sure seems huge compared to our little 99' ski nautiqe. I couldnt imagine upgrading to a 211 or larger!

I'll be adding PP soon, and stripping the Watco crap off the teak platform. Other then that she is pretty sweet.

Thanks for the nice comments we have really enjoyed it so far, we put about 5 hours on it last weekend. I think it will serve us well. I hope it stays warm for a while longer so we get to put a few more hours on her. We went to one of the local lakeside taverns last weekend, and got alot of nice comments.

Awesome boat....although, I may be baised due to the fact that my boat is 99 sport....very similar. I have a black tower, but I really like yours.

It looks like a 2003 or 2004 CC factory tower on your boat. Personally, I think the GT-40 is a better engine than the GM engines. Not that the GM engines are bad, just the GT-40 is better. But my boat has the GT-40 engine in it, with 1950 hours.

Thanks we really like it, it has a little more bump then I am used to, but I am not complaining, just have to remember to have soft knees.

I was really eying a RLXI, but the wife put her foot down and said absolutly not, we will not have a MBU, its an MC or CC or nothing. She has really turned into a boat snob. Had to keep her happy, and we got a great deal on this sport. Plus I really love the GT40 engine. My 92 MC 190 had one, and my 99 Ski Nautique had it, great power, and so dependable.

If it quits raining this weekend i'll get a few more photos.
