Gosh, I'm blushing. Thanks for the compliments guys. So here's a question for you, as some know the motor is out being redone so should I paint it PCM silver like original or the blue stripe color when I get it back?

Blue is a Ford color, so that would look great. The silver is nice too- I dont think you can go wrong either way.

IMO the Blue would look better however if you are all original I would continue that theme.

The skins on the interior aren't origional are they?

I like the blue idea on the engine to match everything.

But I agree, I don't think you could go wrong.

Blue it is. Skins are not original, styled more like a mid 80's Ski now. they were solid blue when I got it but pretty badly worn.

That's what I thought. I'm pretty sure the styling of my skins are original and I found it odd that there would be different styles. I guess I misunderstood an above comment.

I also think the 80/81 stripes are some of the best they ever had. Alan's boat is outstanding in person.

Couldn't agree more. It'd be a shame to lose the originality in a rare boat like that. I vote for the paint!
