    Welcoming ourselves to the community!

Hey ya'll - Texas coming right at ya. I've posted a few times, but this is the first time with the boat. We took delivery on a new to us 2017 G23 with 260 hours on it. We are new boaters (aside from being young children with occasional boating experiences) so we're just super duper pumped on being able to make this happen. Condition of the boat is fantastic, and while it's used, we're as pumped as if it was brand new. Only thing we've done is change out the Polk Head unit for the JL unit and the transom remote. Once the weather warms up a bit, we'll be out there using every bit of performance this boat can offer. If you're around the DFW area or Eagle Point marina at Lake Lewisville, come around and say what's up - we're eager to get to know the community and have fun this summer! That's awesome, congrats and welcome to boating! I live by Lake Lewisville but up on the opposite corner from there near 423 and Eldorado. We keep our boat up at Texoma but if you ever want someone to help show you the ropes, help you guys learn to surf (if you don't already know how), or anything like that just let me know.

Excited for you guys, it'll be a fun summer. Good looking machine.
I couldn't imagine having a G for my 1st boat. Almost like getting your driver's license and jumping into a Lamborghini, lol. I would definitely take bird dog up on his offer, if not for the surfing, for his seasons of nav skills. It will take hours off your G learning curve...
          My best to ya!

I started with a 16' Sylvan aluminum tiller with a 60 hp Merc. The only things I miss are 1) getting more than 10 mpg towing it, and 2) fitting it in my garage.

Sunshine and open water--I am so jealous. We have another snowstorm rolling in tomorrow. Minnesota winters SUCK!

Sharp looking boat! Full stereo replacement happening to my boat in less than 2 weeks, so I'm "almost" as pumped as you two are. Hope you have a blast!

Ryan, don't push that snow down here to Michiana. It's March, I'm done with winter, c'mon!

Would love to take you up on the offer when it warms up. Having someone help us connect some dots I'm sure will reduce the learning curve quite a bit!

I've been hearing this but not sure what we are supposed to do when we love the look and finishes of the Nautique. After looking at these and then looking at Axis, Supra, etc, these just stood out as the clear winner for us. Plus, it should be plenty of boat to grow into

Absolutely man, not a problem at all. Driving an inboard is very different than any outboard or IO, and things like picking up a rider, docking, or getting on a trailer are things that require a plan. The G's are big boats and don't react too quickly at low speeds, I don't mean to sound scary but it can be a lot when learning.

Did the dealer take you out on it at delivery and give you some basics? Is that your slip that the boat is pictured in where it will live (on a lift)?

Ditto MN Ryan, my 1st boat was a 16' low profile orion with a Merc 110. Literally no wake, the driver with have to crank the steering wheel the opposite direction when you laid down the ski, good times.

Good call mattyjman, if you have the coin, might as well go big, or if you live in Texas, go big or... lol

Oh totally - I've got a good foundation to work off of, not worried there - it's just getting the time in the seat to build the skill. Learning how to surf and wakeboard... that's the stuff that will be fun to learn!

Yes, the boats slipped on Lewisville and on a lift!

Dang man, you swung for the fences on your first MLB at bat and nailed it! First time boat owner gets a G23, a slip, and a lift! Congrats on doing it right the first time.
