Man that’s a pretty boat. Yes Bozeman is awesome (except all the people moving here) but you guys have warm water and a lot more lakes. My kids will barely get in the water because it’s always cold.

MTRBTR, Thanks! Yeah, our water is at least warm for a couple months. So you’re not a fan of the Bozefornians? Got that vibe from LOTS of locals there last fall when we were out fishing.

I currently have 6 boats in various condition 3 are comp boats . We bought the 210 in 08 for surfing after setting it up it has done a pretty good job for the last 10 years . The problem is me. I find surfing boring and driving at 10 mph for multiple people endless stops and turns with a over weight boat that handles like a barge gets me sea sick. My 210 has only seen water 3 times this year the comp and the pontoon have been 1 and 2 this year . The wife likes to air chair and slalom ski and I like driving a boat that handles like a Ferrari on water. The dogs like the comfortable easy ride of the pontoon on Sunday afternoon I don't know what the next big thing will be but after the wake surfing fad dies down I doubt these over priced one trick gas burners will be as popular.

I like this thread but we may be in the minority. I have always done a balanced load of all disciplines and I also find the slow plow a bit boring. Variety is the spice of life.

srock , I completely agree. I still like to surf once in a while, it just doesn't get my adrenaline pumping. It's more of a 3-Coors-lights-into-the-afternoon sport. I can get a pull pretty much whenever the urge strikes, so I don't have to abandon one discipline for the other. For my personal boat, I just wanted to lean into the ski thing while I can still push myself physically...and before my kids get corrupted . I can't say I won't go back to a crossover. It's just not going to happen until my kids can both slalom, or I can't.

..I'm also working on my look of disapproval toward surf boats as they pass.

Great looking boat! Please tell me about that boat lift. Looks like it might stay in the water all winter?

Johnny_Rock its a permanent pile lift. Those piles go down about 20 feet below lake bottom. It it moves, we’ve got BIG problems.
