Join the group Castaic Plus One on Facebook. We have found several great people who are either between boats, traveling into the Los Angeles area for a short visit, new to this area, or they just don't want to take their boat out that day.

I hear you. I picked up my new G23 today and caught some rain on the way to storage. I was hoping to do a little non-towing break-in this weekend, but it looks grim.

Can I ask how many hours are on it? Being new to buying my own boat, I'm a bit leery buying used?

The boat has a little over 600 hours, I am really not worried about the hours. I know it is always a sensitive topic, but compare it to your car.. This is really not different in my opinion.

I have put @ 200 hours per year on most of boats. 600 on a 2016 is right on target for me. Proper maintenance and you will be fine! My friends bought a 2010 Malibu LSV with over 1200 hours and put another 750 hours on it (so far) with no issues. All synthetic oils and regular maintenance by a good dealer. Oh, and original upholstery because they are boat nazis like me and stick to their boat rules. Enjoy!
