    My new 2017 G23

Pretty excited and nervous all at the same time. It's gonna be a long winter waiting to get this out on the water....

Wasn't this one of the stolen ones? So clearly they got it back?

All four have been recovered. No damage on any of them either.

That to me, is nothing short of amazing. These are thieves after all and I'm sure they had no concern whatsoever about taking care of those boats.

Yeah I was surprised as well. They were actually trying to prep them to put them in the water. So they planned to use them. Anyway, they are apparently hard to start without batteries. Lol

I did provide a brief update but not to rub it in or anything but rather, just to close it out. The LSV was a good boat but not in the same league as a G23, or even a 230 for that matter. Surf wave good but the quality of the boat just felt subpar to me. After owning an LSV previously I was pretty sure I didn't want one but the dealer really wanted to try to change my mind with a demo. I figured why not since I put demoing a Mastercraft anyway. It was also a great boat but we found ourselves drawn to the Nautique over and over again.

Frankly I'm a bit surprised at how people ridiculed me over testing and deliberating over multiple boat brands and models. It's like you're somehow insulting people when you consider a different brand, or even model within a brand. I guess there are people out there who throw down this kind of money a lot easier than I do and good for them, but I'll never be one of them. This is only my second boat and my first I only owned for a year so I had a lot of research to do before cutting the cheque.

Lets just say some people are very very brand loyal and aren’t willing to try out something new.

                    That’s what makes winters interesting

Nice looking boat. I got mine on August 16 of this year and managed to put 41 hours on the engine. Got enough time behind the best!!
