Drone video - Smith Mountain Lake - Labor Day - Wakesurf, Wakeboard, Molecule 2017
Wakesurfing at Smith Mountain Lake on Labor Day weekend 2017 behind a G23 Super Air Nautique Coastal Edition AKA the Destroyer. -
Cool video and beautiful lake! I grew up in WV, but never made it over to SML unfortunately.
Where did u get your flag pole or flag mount? i.e. How did you mount your flag on the tower?2007 Malibu Wakesetter 23 LSV, 1995 Cobalt 200

Evening Shade - the flag mount was done by trial and error until I found the correct flag mount. The flag mounts were either cheap quality or served a different purpose such as to secure safety flags. After purchasing and returning 2 flag holders , I found the best quality flag holder from Big Air Towers; it is the bomb flag holder. Currently they are out of stock but that is the one you want. I secured it to the top of my tower and had to purchase two M6 35 mm screws to secure because the ones supplied were not long enough to get around the tower. They supplied 2 rubber wraps to go around the tower for protection and the one which I did not use for protection, I cut down to insert into the flag holder to keep the flag pole secure and tight in the holder. Although Big Air has flags and flag poles, they are for very large 3 x 5 flags and I wanted something smaller and a little more classy. The flag and flag pole I ordered from Amazon: Flag - Taylor Made 8474 16 x 24 inch flag , Flag pole - Taylor Made 916 3/4 inch flag pole with Charlevoix clips 24 inch high. Hope this help. I love the set up and it works and functions great.Originally posted by Evening Shade View PostCool video and beautiful lake! I grew up in WV, but never made it over to SML unfortunately.

GMLIII, amazing video and love the color scheme on your boat. I'm deciding on colors for an '18 G23 - what blue is that on your boat?
My '15 G21 is Indigo Blue but they don't offer that blue anymore and the build your Nautique app on the website doesn't always render the colors all that well (Medallion metal flake on the builder and what it looks like on the website are somewhat night and day). Thanks!

WDE Thanks yeah my son is getting pretty good with his drone operating skills. Unfortunately Nautique no longer offers the Midnight Blue color which is the color of my exterior striping and hull on my G23. I think it was replaced with Admiral Blue which is somewhat similar but a bit on the lighter tone in color

Your son is really good with the drone - amazing images, that is professional quality. Love the Midnight blue on your boat and really like the indigo blue on my G21....
On the build your Nautique app on the website the admiral blue and masters blue are hard to judge on the screen - a trip to the dealer is in order. I wish they had a better way to see all the color choices available - even the brochure doesn't have a page with all the interior and exterior color options like a car brochure.
Thanks for the help, look forward to more videos!

Yes the "Build Your Nautique" is hard to get a really good visual as a result I tried to keep my color design simple when I placed my boat order. The White and Blue combo on a boat never goes out of style which will hopefully help me down the road in a resaleOriginally posted by WDE View PostYour son is really good with the drone - amazing images, that is professional quality.
