First boat and still learning ... just dropped off for 20hr service. Any and all advice welcome. Kids are new to wake boarding/wakesurfing, boys 14 and 12, girls 19 and 7. All tips and tricks welcome.

One tip....let them steer or actually drive with you helping to get them used to handling the boat. Never know when a little one might have to drive back to the dock. Plus....it give them a feeling of accomplishment helping you with "boat stuff".....Enjoy the summer. Beautiful setup there.

I've lived on the lake for about 6 years. Fresh water, and the Upper San Jacinto river is an awesome place to wakeboard. Shallow areas though on the river and the lake, you need to have a person experienced with the lake go with you the first time. Check out GCWA (Gulf Coast Wakeboard Association) if you're not familiar. Good group of fun people.
