Thanks. It was real sad to see the 76 Nautique go. That boat gave us a lot of fun days on the lake.

As far as the SAN, I don't think i've seen that color combo before, which is why we snatched it up. I know a lot of people aren't crazy about the big "N" logo, but I've always thought it exhibits nice, simple style typical of Correct Craft. I've attched a few more shots below.

The color package is nice! I did not notice the big 'N' like I do on the other 01's.

I've always been keen on the reverse color scheme as it seems to clean up the AIR logo on the side. I don't think I've ever seen that color, either. The white tower is way pimp, too!! Nice rig!!

Thanks. Your 01 is looking pretty sharp yourself. As far as the tower, it came that way from the previous owner so I can't tell whether it was factory or aftermarket done. My guess is that it was requested at the time the boat was originally ordered.

I'd like to see colored decks offered again as well. I understand that there might have been an issue with color fading and warranty claims that caused them to not be able to continue to offer the deck color option. I'm not sure how true that is. It is just something that I heard. With the deck so directly exposed to the sun, it has the potential to fade faster than the rest of the boat if it is not maintained well.

I would hope the color wouldn't fade within the 5 year warranty... Do any of the waxes out there offer UV protection?

How many years did CC do colored decks and now they stop...?

As long as the dealer communicates the potential issues with a colored deck (i.e. - color fading and more visible scratches), it should be the customer's choice. If the customer is up for the extra work involved in maintaining a colored deck they should be able to order one.

If I knew how to do a poll on this site I'd start one on colored decks...

Yeah, but hull and deck are lifetime to original owner. I think that's where the problem is.

Formula 113 protects against UVA/UVB rays. You can apply in direct sunlight. I squeeze it into a spray bottle to the count on 7, and fill to the top with water. Shake it up, spray it on, and just buff it in while turning a good quality towel. You can use it on the glass, anything painted. I use it on all my show cars everywhere except the tires. And the best part is your waxing in the same time it takes to detail spray. It's brewed in 55 gl. vats, instead of 5000 gl. vats. It dries clear and I've been using it for almost 9 years.
