Took pylon out of my supersport, added filler piece

I recently took my pylon out and added this filler cap that I made at work. Just wanted to share

Nice looking piece! Did you machine that yourself or have someone do it for you? How are you planning on keeping it in place and any concerns about heat? In AZ I would probably have a nautique logo branded on my foot if I wasn't careful.

+1...but that is really nice work. When I got mine, it had a crappy piece of carpet-covered starboard over it. I replaced that with a stainless drain that looked better but got hot and but out feet if we stepped on it wrong. When I put my SeaDek down, I eliminated the hole altogether.

I did make it myself. I work on some nice CNC equipment.
I am wondering about the heat in the sun, but I will deal with that when it happens. I wanted something unique and not just a black plastic cap.
I put 4 holes in the bottom and will screw a homemade washer on it so it won't move.
And YES I can make more........

I have just a piece of aluminum on the bottom side of mine. Acts as a good cup holder when u r in a pinch

Looks awesome! I would love to get something like that and remove my SAN rear pylon. That just looks so clean! Let me know if you want to make one for a SAN and we can work out the size dimensions.
