    Another 97 Super Sport

    Finally got her home!

Have to make another trip to get the top half of the tower but made a quick, and relatively dry wakeboard run Saturday. Unweighted and no tower but probably the most fun ride I've ever had.

Congrats on the pick up. I thought that looked like a clean SS on craigslist. Is the tower from an 06 210?

I'm not sure, the PO used to be a member here and said it was compatible with this hull/deck. Is there an ID number on the tower that I could find? I'm pretty sure he got the tower from someone here.

I haven't been able to get as much work done on the boat as I'd like, but slow progress is better than no progress.

Little $20 ballast to help keep it even. I think I've got some Velcro grab handles from my old Jeep that will make moving them around a little easier.

Once it dries I'll weigh them, didn't want to risk dropping one and getting concrete everywhere.

I did almost that same thing with a bunch of old lead wheel weights (found a shop several years ago that let me have a few bucket fulls) and sand. I don't know how heavy they were, but lets just say, they worked.... It was a bi*** moving them though..... lol

                            35lbs each.

Although it was basically an impulse purchase at home depot I'd probably go with 3' tube. These were 4.5" and 2' long.
