    206 & Kayak

I was just going though some summer photos and came across this one from a Saturday in July. The river was a bit nasty and water was high (look at the dock behind the boat), but a family friend was still willing to kayak. I took him for a quick tour of the area and then dropped him off.

    I just like the photo!

Nice...I was thinking you were going to show it on the tower.

That red top deck is nice. Probably very few of those.

Funny pic and beautiful boat. The colored deck boats look amazing and are definitely pretty rare.

Random question but does your bimini have any straps to keep it open? If you happen to have any close ups of how it's mounted that would be great. I am thinking of modifying the bimini from my old tower to fit my NDT and I would like to do it similar to how yours is set up.

Thanks AirTool and Shawn. The only way I would have a red boat like the 206 is if it was all red. My wife loved the boat when we saw it at the dealership.

Shawn, my bimini does have two straps at the front. They have spring clips to attach to the front part of the tower. If you want pics, let me know. The center framing and rear framing is the typical hollow tubing.

I ride a SkySki and I never pursued a hydrofoil mount for the tower. I think they are awkward for such a heavy piece of gear. Now, if only they could make a kayak mount for the tower!

Thanks Dave, some pics of your bimini setup would be great. No rush, especially if your boat is all put away for the winter like mine is.
