    Upgrade Made

After two years and 280 hours on the 230, I decided to do the upgrade. At the DFW boat show I quoted 7 different boats; three Nautiques and four competitors. The decision came down to two boats, the XStar and the G23 but in the end I could not leave Nautique. The 230 is a great boat and I am especially looking forward to the the G23. The question came down to ordering one with the colors I wanted or taking the one in stock. For some reason the one in stock appealed to me and the NSS will be installed in March, just in time for the start of the season.

My family names all our vehicles and boats, but you will never see it tacked on the stern. The 230 was Roxy and so far this one has a couple but nothing settled yet, Da-Blues or Bruiser. I don't care what they name it, I just can wait to get behind it!

That's a beast! Congrats. What motor did it have in it? Have you ridden behind one yet?

It has the 450. I road the Nautique demo when they had it in Dallas a while back. I think it had the 550, so I hope the 450 will be enough.

I love that color! Might be the best looking G23 I've seen yet.

Thanks all. To answer questions...It is masters blue, with no metallic and I will take delivery hopefully in mid-March when they get the NSS installed. This is boat number 4 and Buxton is by far one of the best dealers I have worked with.

Now it is in heated show room vs. dusty locker. Also, if I keep it there, they will be able to install the NSS as soon as it arrives. If I have it and the NSS come during spring break, I may have to wait another week. The drawback is traffic on it but if something happens, I know Phil will make it right.

Figured he was making you wait until your 230 was sold before closing the G23 deal...

They just sold my 230 and my G23 gets here in about 2 weeks..
