First of all a little back story. First time I ever went wakeboarding was behind a Air Nautique when I was 18. Me and a buddy went with our football coach and I was hooked. We never got a chance to go back out on the Air but we would tear off after work in high school and drop his parents old yamaha waverunner in the Alabama River. Fast forward a couple years and I finally talk my parents into buying a boat, hoping for 2001, we ended up with a 18ft Maxum. A lot of fun was had on that boat, but I have always wanted a Nautique. In 2005 I worked at a camp in Arkansas that had a fleet (10) Nautiques that ranged from a 1991 SN(1000+ hrs) to a 2003 Air 216. Needless to say I wanted a Nautique. Got married and we were looking for a mid 80's ski boat (2001 or Supra) to start with. Found one a couple hours away and the day I go to check it out, the guy sales it. A little bummed, we kept looking. Then this little gem fell into our hands. Only 2 hours away also. Test drove it, another guy tried to drop and offer on it during the test drive, brought it home. I've been lurking for years and I'm pumped about being part of the Family!
