The beam is 95" on the 200. The 196 was 90.25".

To me (partially color blind), it looks like Victory Red and Gun Metal Flake. The colored platform looks great, I just worry about the durability. Anyone have one that can comment?

I bet that platform would show scratches. My last boat had a red bottom, and I had to buff the bunk carpet rash out of it everytime I loaded it on the trailer. It's amazing how much white hides! I like the look of a colored bottom/platform, but would never own one again.

Our 2011 is the same color scheme. I am having ZERO issues with scratches of the red from the bunks on the trailer and lift and no problems with the ropes or anything else scratching the metallic deck. The gellcoat maintenance on this boat has been far easier than my black/blue 08.

My '07 had an Eagle trailer, and perhaps they used more abrasive carpet? Maybe they used a different gel coat back then too? Whatever the case, it sure was tough keeping that bottom looking new.

My '03 had a black hull. I kept most of the scratches off by loading with the trailer deeper in the water. That way it didn't slide along on dry carpet bunks.

I always tried to do the same with that Eagle I had, but the tongue was super long, and the bunks were really high. I would've had to back half my truck into the water in order get those bunks in deeper. My new boat has a Ramlin, so I'm thinking the wishbone design should help eliminate that?
