nice boat. i love the white on white hull/tower sittin on that murdered out trailer. and the wood grain wheel is very unique and very cool. i don't know what your box is made of, but i'd get some hdpe pads to elevate it off the floor. my box got ruined sitting on the carpet. but wow. i don't think that thing can get any better.

The box is mdf with like 5 coats of fiberglass resin on it pre-paint. My father-in-law, who is a retired TVA engineer and has a woodshop, made it for me using the plans from wetsounds. It's completely waterproof. I also ruined a box last year and swore I'd just build one from scratch and do it right. Fortunately, when my father-in-law got ahold of the plans he decided to make the dang thing himself. To my credit, I did the resin coating.

The steering wheel is made by Nardi - some italian hand carved deal. You can find them on ebay from tiem to time or you can order them through www.n3boatworks.com. I picked up a used on in flawless condition that had the brushed finish I wanted. The holes line up with the stock mounting holes. The only thing you need is make it look clean is either the center trim ring and horn knob off of a full throttle steering wheel (which is what I used), or the trim ring from the pre-2010 non-full throttle steering wheels. The new non-full throttle wheel no longer has the neat little aluminum trim ring. Without some sort of a trim ring, it doesn't look right.

i begged and begged last year to see your black nauti on the water and it didnt happen. always seen pics on the trailer. i REALLY would like to see this boat on the water. the white is sick but how does it look on the water? i want to see the "gost rider" floating!!! .......again nice ride!!!

If I were you, I'd just call TRC and get them to order you the 2010 trash can door, seal, hinges, latch, etc. It can't be that much and you'd retain a stock appearance once installed. Since you got the boat there, they should hook you up.

I ordered my '10 with the trash can option and immediately removed all of the brackets that hold the actual garbage can from the door itself. This way I can close the walk through air dam and just open that sealable door. It makes a TREMENDOUS difference in the amount of bass that actual reaches the cabin.

that sounds like a sweet idea, but i have all of my amps mounted on the right side of that port storage compartment and that's where the door cut out would be. i'd rather not move those. i think i'm going to put a vent or two between the seat bottom and the floor in that fiberglass - prolly just one to start out. after i get me box built that is.

I intend to come up to the tournaments at B&B this year. I usually ride down near chester frost park or in soddy creek. The hiwassee is a bit of a hike for me, but you guys have awesome flat water up there.
