What did you paint your vents with? I've been wanting to do this for a while now.

The tint is 20%. It would look a little darker if I had a bimini top, which I'm looking into getting.

I took the vents to a local auto body shop. I'm honestly not sure what paint they used, but it has an auto finish that I can wax, etc. I know that quotes were all over the place for painting these. I had the best luck with a local shop. Also, some places may try to match the color exactly, which ends up costing more money for them to get the paint, etc. If you're doing black, just have them paint the vents a gloss black with normal GM paint and you will be good. Most places will have this in stock and it will cost a lot less.

**** what a sick boat ... love how clean it looks with just the lettering, and blacking out the vent was a great idea

Agreed...I like the lettering only look...that is clean! Do you know what % gloss they used in the black powdercoat for the rear vents? Looks like a good match with the gelcoat in the pics...

I did not have them powdercoated. I took them to a auto body shop and they painted them with an OEM GM black glossy paint and then coated them with a clear automotive finish. They ended up matching great.
