Bought this boat from a PN member in Feb. Before and after. I have a custom bimini, board racks and stereo to install now.

All I see is new graphics. The boat looked pretty mint in the before pics. Am I missing something? I'm not trying to crap on the thread, I am asking sincerely. Now

I think the "face lift" is just the additions. Everything else looked pretty good for a 99Eric, Phoenix AZ

I never said i turned a Nautique into something else. I put NEW style graphics on a wet-sanded and buffed hull. The last pic is the before "Sport Nautique"which yeah, it does look good as original. Not my point with this post. Probably should have kept it to myself considering the comments.

Not quite
I don't think you will get much agreement with "you should have kept it to yourself". This is a community, you can see plenty of examples of help and interest in other people's business. As I read the above, I read genuine interest to see just what sort of before and after took place. Transformation of boats are going to vary, it looks like you started with a nice starting point and are making it a little better. Keep it up.2007 sv 211TE

Do you have any pics of the before and after sanded and buffed hull up close?

Hard to see with black but once the decals were off, the oxidation and hard water spots were very noticable in the sunlight. It came out nicely.
I am very please with the boat. It is hard to satisfy the entire family with one boat but this boat is good for barefooting, slalom, intermediate wakeboarding and especially boom usage. I have a 6 yr old and a 3 yr old. They really got intimidated by the giant wake from my 04 SAN.

Great job... I'm a fan of the Sport/216 DD however. I've also removed the Sport Nautique from the back and went with the Chrome Nautique. Pretty pleased with the change. I also did the binimi top last year and I am planning the Cover Sports cover this year. Again....Nice!_____________________________________________

Thanks for the compliments. I really think if a person paid the big bucks for the Chromax letters on the side that would look great. They are much easier to work with. I put Chromax on the transom and really like the clean look. New decals are an easy way to personalize and update your boat. It is still a 99 Sport converted to an Air but I like the older boats as well as the newer ones, maybe better when i look at my account.
I plan to post pics this week with the bimini on the boat. I am having a full length cover custom made which will go to the water line and be trailerable.
