We traded for this boat though Buxton Marine and they were awesome as usual. I realise they can "play" with the numbers, but they gave us exactly what we paid for our '04 SV211 last year. So, we were VERY happy with the deal. If I would have ordered the boat, I would not have picked these colors, but they are very close to what our 211 was, and I liked it. It was black/vapor blue/vapor blue. Not a far cry of black/white/vapor blue.
I've never had a new Nautique, so it is a neat experience and the boat is absolutely awesome. The only thing I miss about the 211 is the large glove box. I'm probably showing my age (40), but I am very pleased with the stock stereo. It won't blow you out of the water, but it sounds great inside the boat while underway and even better while swimming/sunning. I feel no need to spend money on more watts, speakers, etc. To each his own, obviously!!
Anyway, we really like it and look forward to another 10 weeks or so of boating season.
We're at 4.5 hours on the "break in" and will have it finished and boarding in the morning.
Nice boat. I also like your pistol collection. If your carrying those on the boat, they'll need extra large floaties to keep 'em from sinking to the bottom.
Only a Glock 33 in the boat...........cheap and virtually waterproof!! You wouldn't think you would need a pistol in the boat, but last year a guy threatened to get his "9" because our waves were hitting his dock!! The Game Wardens and I paid him a visit the next day.
saceone,
It does look better on the water than on the trailer. The colors are growing on me. THe only addition is white and it has a clean look to it.
Ranger3, that is hilarious. If he only know who he had just threatened. Love the boat. I have never seen one that color combo and love it. You will not regret the upgrade one bit.

I'm not aware of any law prohibiting you carrying a pistola in your boat...........but as I tell folks often, I certainly don't have the penal code memorized. I'm a cop and carry a pistol EVERY WHERE I go. Land or Sea!!
I would imagine though, your boat is slightly less restrictive than your car............so in Texas I think you would be fine if you are packing heat! I'll ask the Game Warden Next week.
BTW..............this 220 is bad to the bone. I love ZO, the stereo, the seating and the engine!! I couldn't be more pleased!!
I am surprised you went with buxton. You are in ski and sports territory. Was it a brand new boat? If so I thought that that was a no no for dealers to cross into other dealers territory?
