New Bimini pics...

I finally got to take some pictures of the new bimini this past weekend on our trip to Lake Ouachita. Had a blast, and would have fried in the sun with out the new addition. What do you think......

That is sewn in material. Tower Bimini is who made it.

Does the bimini affect the sound from the tower speakers getting to the driver / observer seats ??

Can you hear the tunes when you're riding?

Ski school boats don't have any system in them here. :???:

It did not affect them that much for the passengers. The cabin speakers are pretty powerful. As for riding you can hear them but it is not super clear. If you know what song your listening to then you can sing a long. Thanks for the compliments as this has been a fun project. I still have a ton of things to do though.

See your boat is like ours..

We have just purchased a 1999 super sport which looks to be like yours, we are wanting to add factory ballast tanks to ours. did yours come with factory ballast tanks? thanks

I see you have the NDT Tower. Do you like it? I am having mine delivered Wednesday. Did you put yours on yourself? Did the bimini fit the NDT like the factory FCT?

Mine does not have factory ballast tanks. When I first bought the boat I had thought of adding them but they are not enough weight. I would have had to added a bag on top of the rear tanks and in the ski locker to satisfy myself and my other riders. I decided to do a custom soft bag setup with the style pumps that come on the new boats. I am collectiong parts right now to do mine over winter. Do a search for 210 or super sport ballast system and you will find a wealth of information.

I love the tower so far. It has been the best upgrade by far. The tower was pretty easy to install with just a helper. It took about two hours total. I already had my interior stripped out because I was working on other upgrades so it might take a little longer. As for the bimini I had to take measurements off of my tower so they could build me a top. It was super easy to measure, however, it took three weeks longer to get it built. Not an issue as it is a perfect fit and I love it. Not really sure what I did without it? Second best upgrade for sure...........
