Little Mountain, SC (May 28, 2026) - Pleasurecraft Engine Group (PEG) is proud to recognize World Hunger Day through a meaningful contribution to the local community.
Observed annually on May 28, World Hunger Day brings awareness to global food insecurity and marks the importance of sustainable solutions to hunger. The day encourages individuals, organizations, and communities to take action in support of those facing hunger both locally and around the world.
In honor of World Hunger Day, PEG employees came together to donate a total of 336 pounds of food and 636 individual items to the Chapin We Care Center. The donations will help support local families and individuals facing food insecurity throughout the Chapin community.
“At Pleasurecraft Engine Group, we believe in supporting the communities that support us,” said President Trey Thurman. “World Hunger Day serves as an important reminder that even small acts of generosity can make a meaningful impact.”
